BLACK SHARK: XIAOMI'S FIRST GAMING PHONE
XIAOMI has launched its first gaming smartphone on april 2018 in an event in Beijing,China.The phone is developed in partnership with a gaming product company 'BLACK SHARK TECHNOLOGY'.
The Xiaomi Black Shark features a 6-inch, 2.5D, 2160 x 1080 resolution 120 Hz refresh rate display for advanced gaming performance , Snapdragon 845 chipset with Adreno 630 GPU, up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB storage.
There’s also 12MP dual-camera combo at the rear with f/1.7 aperture, PDAF, and 4K video recording. At the front, there’s a 20MP camera with f/1.7 aperture. plus dual-tone LED Flash. Phase-detection autofocus, 4K capture, HDR, and Portrait Mode are also included, along with something Xiaomi calls “Dark Light Enhancement Technology.”
Its packed with powerful long lasting 4000mAh battery with fast charging support through the USB Type-C port. The loudspeakers are placed besides the charging port as usual in Xiaomi phones.
Along with the gaming smartphone, Black Shark has also introduced a gaming one-sided, “plug-and-play” gamepad to enhance the overall gaming experience. The gaming controller can only be paired with the Black Shark device, and comes with a thumb pad for accurate gaming.
The phone itself has an integrated liquid cooling system to avoid overheating during long gaming sessions, and houses a dedicated “Shark key” (presumably that’s the green button on the edge of the device) that can be pressed to enter a high-performance gaming mode.
This smartphone comes in two different color variants Polar Night and Sky Grey.
